Which Allie Samberts Heroine are You?
A personality test! This is seriously so fun.
I’m going to start off with an announcement, even though there is more information in the Updates section, because I don’t want it to get buried in today’s post. The Write Choice audiobook is NOW AVAILABLE!!! So, go grab it and come back. It’s cool. I’ll wait.
Okay. Thanks for downloading! You’re the best. Now, on to today’s newsletter. It’s the last newsletter of summer, y’all. It’s a bittersweet ending, but let me tell you… I am READY for something new. Of course, I love summer. It holds a special place in my heart from all the way back to childhood, but the fresh, new feeling of fall is my favorite. A new school year, a crispness in the air that feels like it’s cleansing something.
I mean, sure, we have a ways to go before the weather turns, but pumpkin spice coffee is in the aisles at Target, so it’s practically Halloween.
In honor of back-to-school right around the corner (or, for some of you, in the rearview mirror already!), I’ve got a little quiz for you! Don’t worry—it’s not graded. But I thought it’d be fun to find out what Allie Samberts heroine you are with a personality quiz! It was so fun to put together. I hope you have fun taking it, and be sure to let me know who you got in the comments! (And let me know if you think I should do another one about “Who is your perfect Allie Samberts book boyfriend?”)
How early is too early to buy that pumpkin spice coffee? I’m asking for a friend.
Seriously, though, I decided my schedule this school year required some extra-special coffee, so I bought a Keurig for my classroom AND a mini-mini-fridge to keep creamer in. You know those little 6-can cutie ones? I’m pretty stoked about it. It’s the little things, amirite?
OK, y’all. Let’s have some fun!

The Write Choice audiobook is now available!
This book is so special to me. It’s the last book of the series that made me an author. It’s a book that’s so close to my heart in so many ways. I love it beyond measure, and Megan and Ben took such good care of it. They are phenomenal. When I tell you I had chills listening to it, I’m not exaggerating. Grab your copy now! You won’t regret it. (And, pro tip, if you download the KU book, you can get the audio for only $7.49!)
The Common Grounds audiobook is coming! We’ve got narrators selected, and I’m so excited to hear how they bring Emery and Trevor to life.
The book I’m working on now is halfway written, and I think I’ve said this before, but I am so in love with these characters. They might be my favorite so far. I can’t wait to share more!
And Christmas by Design is still open for pre-orders! $0.99 Kindle ebook that will be delivered right to your device on Black Friday? YES, PLEASE! (Paperbacks will be available, too.)
I know this one is controversial. It seems people either love it or hate it. But I ATE UP The Fake Mate by Lana Ferguson. I could not put it down. I really needed a break from straight-up contemporary romances and rom-coms. I wanted a fantasy, but not one that was too serious. This hit the SPOT. If you’re looking for a chaotic, laugh-out-loud, SUPER HOT shifter romance, this one is absolutely for you.
To those of you starting school next week, good luck! To those who have started already, bless your hearts. To those who don’t start until after Labor Day… *grumble* enjoy the rest of summer, I guess. 😉
No matter where you are in your back-to-school preparations, I wish you happy reading!
