Title Reveal: Book 3!

The Write…

I originally planned to reveal the title of book 3 in November, closer to the release date, but I’ve been persuaded to do it earlier. So, here we go! But first…

It’s almost cold enough to switch to hot coffee! I tried bringing hot coffee to work once this week because the high was in the 70s, but I was really warm. I ended up switching back to cold brew for the rest of the week. But fall is in the air! I can feel it. I’ve already busted out my blazers and cardigans in anticipation, but what I really can’t wait for is boot weather. I am a fall girl straight down to my core.

Let’s do this thing. Title reveal, book 3. And the title is…

THE WRITE CHOICE!

This comes from a line Katie said in The Write Time, and it works beautifully with the themes in book 3. Katie and Brandon are married, and they both have to reckon with choices they’ve made in the past and choices they make for their family going forward.

What I love about Katie and Brandon is that they are striving to do what is right for themselves, for each other, and for their families. When it comes to each individual, there’s no right or wrong choice, but these two want to do the best they can for the people they love.

There’s no question that Katie and Brandon love each other and their kids, but they are frustrated with their circumstances six years into their marriage. Throughout the book, they navigate raising two small children while also trying to communicate with each other and balancing careers, their relationship, friendships, and family. They stumble—don’t we all?—but they work toward their common goal, which is to do what’s best for their kids and each other.

I can’t wait to share more with you about Katie and Brandon as we get closer to release day, but hopefully this title reveal holds you over for the time being!

I was able to review the first 15 minutes of The Write Place audiobook and… y’all. I cried. Because it’s THAT GOOD. I am so excited for you all to hear Mac, Daniel, Jenny, Ben, and the rest of the crew come to life. Megan Carver has captured the characters perfectly, and I can’t believe my luck in finding her. We have some cool content planned for right around release time, so stay tuned for some Instagram lives, interviews, and more!

I’m also expecting final beta feedback on The Write Choice (feels good to use the title to talk about it, finally!) this weekend, and then it’s off to the editor! ARCs will be here before you know it.

That’s all for now! I haven’t been reading much lately because things are starting to ramp up over here. The next few weeks and weekends are going to be completely bananas at the Samberts house, but after that, things should calm down a bit and I can get back to recommending some great reads.

Until next week!
