The first leg of my book tour was magical!
It was so cool to meet so many readers!
Cross-posted to Substack.
I just got back from the end of the first leg of my summer event tour and a magical Disney vacation, and I am absolutely exhausted in the BEST way. My therapist is going to be so proud of me, because I put on that out of office message and kept my phone away (even to take pictures—thank goodness for people who were taking them for me!) and was FULLY PRESENT both on my tour and on vacation. And let me tell you, I needed it.
But now I’m back and ready to get to work on what’s coming next. More on that in the Updates section, along with more event dates coming up in case you missed me this time!
But first…
This might be TMI but I had some major tummy issues leading up to this tour, so I had to give up caffeine for a while. That was horrible, so I will not be doing that again. But then I was in Disney World, and I feel like they’ve missed such an opportunity to develop the world’s best iced coffee for those hot Florida summer days. They do have cold brew in their quick service restaurants at the resorts now, which is new from what I remember, but I was looking for a gourmet iced coffee experience I can’t get anywhere else, you know? That said, their cold brew was very good and I drank it almost every day.
But if anyone from Disney is reading this…think about it. 😉
I loved every second of my release tour. It was amazing to meet so many new and longtime readers, chat with some of my best author friends, and CELEBRATE this dream come true. Plus, did you know it was my birthday on Sunday? So I got to celebrate that, too.
Honestly, after a couple of rough years, it was great to let loose, put down my worries and stresses for a while, go new places, and just experience JOY. I know book tours are supposed to be about selling books, but this one was also about me and the pride I have in myself for doing the damn thing.
So, since a picture says a thousand words, I’m going to shut up and share some of my favorite pictures from my tour!

This whole tour, everyone kept asking me, “What’s next?” and honestly…I don’t fully know! I’m ready to get back to rewriting the draft of the first in my witchy romance series, and my edits are due back on Not the Way it Ends today, so I have plenty of work lined up for me this summer. But I’m also focused on making these next two releases super successful (psst…have you preordered them yet???) and also spending some time on myself! I downloaded a half marathon training plan because doing that again is a major goal of mine, and it would be nice to do something else besides writing, teaching, and dance-momming.
But rest assured, you’re going to get TWO MORE Allie Samberts books in the second half of 2026, and they’re both phenomenal. You won’t want to miss them!
Okay. Now…time for a nap. Also, the next time I say I’m taking a road trip to Disney, please someone tell me not to do that. It was exhausting!
If you’ve read Not a Strong Enough Word, please leave a review and tell a friend to buy it! Also, request it at your local library! It would be awesome for as many people as possible to get their hands on this book.
Happy reading!
