The gang’s all here!
Three gorgeous paperbacks, all in a row.
Cross-posted to Substack.
With just about two weeks until the (stunning) conclusion of the Strong Enough series is released, this is normally the time in the release cycle when I’d be introducing you to characters, talking about the importance of preorders, trying to hook you with swoon-worthy quotes. But today, I’m just emotional. My author copies of Not the Way it Ends arrived, and the gang’s finally all here.
I immediately cracked open that box, cried at the dedication page, and then lined up the whole family together so I could do an impromptu photo shoot in my bedroom’s moody, afternoon lighting.
These three books represent so much for me. Not a Strong Enough Word was the book of my soul, the book that landed me a trad deal, the book that changed the way I look at writing and romance. Not on the Same Page was built from my blood, sweat, and tears. (So many tears.) Not the Way it Ends popped out of my head like Athena and reminded me that this is fun, I am good at this, and closing out a series is emotional AF.
This series put my books on those very same bookstore shelves I used to look at and say, “My books will be there someday.” They taught me so much. I am a new person—and author—because of them.
So yeah, I’m taking a moment today to appreciate this gorgeous series. Maybe seeing all three of them together persuades you to buy them. Maybe it doesn’t. Maybe stumbling upon the pretty colors in your feed brings you a little happiness. Maybe it doesn’t.
Regardless, the gang’s all here, and I’ve never been more proud of something I’ve created. Because I was strong enough to do this. And I’ll be strong enough to do the next thing, too, whatever that is.

Oh, who am I kidding? I’m still going to try to hook you with a swoon-worthy quote.
“Put me out of my misery. Please.” I don’t know if I’m asking her to kiss me so I can taste her or reject me so I can lick my wounds and move on. The ball’s in her court. All I can do is count my breaths as my words settle between us.
One…
Two…
Three…
Four…
And the next thing I know, she reaches out and fists my shirt as she tips her face up to me.
Did it work??

Coffee is still my lifeblood, but I recently ordered some tea, and it is SO GOOD. Pumpkin spice tea, of course, but also orange spice, green chai, and turmeric chai. The flavors are incredible. This isn’t sponsored, but I would 10/10 recommend Adagio Teas! I’ve been buying tea from them for years, and I’ve never been disappointed.
